Nothing disappears quietly. A delete removes the record from every list and search, and leaves a row here naming what it was, who did it and why. The underlying data is held for the retention window before it is actually destroyed, so a mistake is recoverable.

Only Super Admin may delete
Everyone else closes records with a reason code instead
Bulk delete is off by policy
The 62-lead spam clear-out needed a one-time approval
Placements cannot be deleted
Seven-year statutory hold, no exception in the UI
A record in active deployment is protected
It must be withdrawn from the pipeline first
The log itself is append-only
No role can edit or remove a row, including Super Admin
